Topographic surveys are conducted with experienced crews using the latest survey and CAD equipment and software. A trained Party Chief leads the crew’s efforts in establishing control points and bench marks (local or USGS depending on client requirements) and then obtaining the necessary data to prepare a CAD file of the existing conditions. Plan sheets prepared with the existing topography can then be used to design proposed improvements or used as exhibits for public meetings. Our survey staff also assists during construction observation services to provide construction layout, document earthwork quantities and prepare construction record drawings.
