Ciorba Group provided design engineering and construction engineering services for the dredging and other improvements to several Kensington Business Park Detention Ponds. The Detention basins have accumulated sediment over the years, which decreased water depth, causing algae and weed growth during the summer months. Ciorba’s work includes plan preparation for the excavation and disposal of the accumulated sediment as well as regrading the basins to achieve the desired detention volume and stabilized shorelines.
