Ciorba Group Welcomes Matthew Bond, PE
Ciorba Group is pleased to welcome Matthew Bond, PE, to the team as a Resident Engineer I. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is a licensed IL Professional Engineer with more than eight years of construction engineering and inspection experience.
Throughout his career, Matthew has supported major Illinois Department of Transportation and Illinois Tollway infrastructure programs, including work on the I-490 Elgin O’Hare Western Access corridor. His background includes construction inspection and documentation, quantity tracking, field surveys, maintenance of traffic coordination, erosion and sediment control inspections, and contractor coordination to help keep projects aligned with plans, specifications, and client expectations.
In addition to his field experience, Matthew brings a strong technical foundation in design support, constructability review, and project documentation. His experience spans roadway, bridge, drainage, traffic systems, and pavement-related work, giving him a well-rounded perspective on complex transportation infrastructure projects.
In his role at Ciorba, Matthew will oversee and manage Phase 3 construction services across Ciorba’s diverse clientele, while ensuring that complex infrastructure projects are delivered with technical precision and fiscal integrity.
