Various Bridge and Roadway Improvements

Ciorba Group provided preliminary and final design engineering services for various bridge, roadway, and ITS improvements along the Western Corridor of the I-90 reconstruction project. The work included the replacement of seven crossover bridges along I-90 that required developing new roadway centerline profiles. Adjacent roadways were reconstructed, some extensively, to accommodate the new profiles. Plans, specifications and cost estimates were also prepared for all ramp queue detection along I-90 from I-39 to Randall Road.  Coordination was conducted with the Tollway, the Western Corridor DCM, the Union Pacific Railroad, IDOT District Two and various Counties and Townships.
