I-80/US Route 45 InterchangeReconstruction

Ciorba Group provided preliminary engineering studies and design plans to reconstruct the interchange of I-80 at U.S. Route 45. The improvement included reconstructing two miles of U.S. Route 45 through the interchange. The existing cloverleaf interchange was replaced with a four Quadrant Parclo Type A interchange. This required removing eight existing interchange ramps and constructing six ramps on new horizontal and vertical alignment. Two new signalized intersections were created by the Parclo’s ramps connections to U.S. Route 45.
