Central Reservoir Improvements

Ciorba Group was responsible for the restoration of the Village’s 90-year old, 5.0 MG buried concrete reservoir located under a public park. Embankment was staged and reservoir roof/sidewalls were improved with an elastomeric membrane coating. Reservoir interior was drained and structural repairs were completed for a more robust improvement. Adjacent maintenance yard improvements included new and rehabilitated retaining walls, spoils pit reconstruction, and drainage improvements. Central Pump Station improvements included piping enhancements, new level control, and vault alarming. Restoration included a new athletic field. The project resulted in extension of facility useful life and operational enhancements to the pump station/maintenance yard.
