Building a Better I-64
Ciorba Group is proud to continue supporting the Improve 64 Design-Build project alongside William Charles Construction as construction activities move forward along the I-64 in Floyd County, Indiana.
This major infrastructure improvement project is designed to reduce congestion, improve safety, and enhance travel near the Kentucky border.
Project improvements include:
- Added travel lanes in each direction
- Full reconfiguration of the I-64/I-265 interchange
- Bridge replacements and rehabilitations for the entire project
- Enhanced pavement throughout the corridor
- Drainage improvements
- Lighting, Intelligent Transportation Systems and sign modernization
- New retaining walls and noise abatement walls
