RESIDENT ENGINEER FOR EXPRESSWAY CONSTRUCTION

Responsibilities:
  • Leading a team of engineers and technicians in monitoring and documentiing the construction of expressway improvements
Required Qualifications:
  • 15 or more years of experience on IDOT or ISTHA projects
  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
  • PE a plus but not required

MUNICIPAL SERVICES MANAGER

Responsibilities:
  • Manage municipal engineering services including study and design of water and wastewater improvements, MFT funded roadway work, analysis and design of stormwater facilities, grant applications and development plan reviews.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5 years experience in municipal engineering projects as outlined above.
  • Proven leadership and public communication skills.
  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
  • PE required

STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Responsibilities:
  • Structural analysis and design calculations for bridge projects
  • Inspection and data collection for bridges and other structures
  • Preparation of structural design plans within a multidiscipline design team
  • Design and detailing using CADD
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Masters degree and previous work and co-op experience a plus
  • Location: Chicago

SENIOR BRIDGE ENGINEER

Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of preliminary and final plans for steel and concrete highway and pedestrian bridges for various state and municipal agencies.
  • Supervision of design and CADD work of other team member and coordination of project activities with other disciplines.
  • Coordination of bridge inspections and report preparation.
  • Coordination with client and management of project schedule and deliverables.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
  • 5-10 years of bridge and structural design experience
  • Illinois SE
  • Good communication skills
  • Masters degree and Experience on complex structural design a plus
